Business Analyst (Macedonia Based)

Idox Health is looking for experienced Business Analyst to join Business Development Business Unit.

The primary purpose of the role is to establish, gather, document, analyse and communicate project requirements, in order that the business as a whole is able to build products and services that meet the needs of our internal and external customers.

The role is not specific to any individual product line or market segment. Instead, it will support several Product and Service lines in our product portfolio, existing and new. Business Analysts are based in the Business Development Team, working closely with product management and development.

You would be responsible for:

  • Plan, facilitate and follow up customer research, with support from other teams within the business.
  • Manage customer engagement, such as requirement gathering workshops, face to face interviews, market research, beta testing and early adopter programmes
  • Identify and engage with diverse customer bases (internal and external) in order to gather all requirement such as business, user, functional and non-functional, system requirements.
  • Identify and analyse user objectives and their definition of value to ensure Idox products provide appropriate, realistic and saleable solutions
  • Documenting requirements in line with company best practice and requirement standards
  • Communicating requirements to other parts of the business
  • Owning requirements at project level.

Essential:

  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain successful internal and external working relationships
  • Can demonstrate an analytical approach to work
  • Attention to detail
  • University education or equivalent industry experience
  • Worked successfully as a hands-on business analyst, ideally in a lead role on large scale software delivery projects throughout the entire development life cycle
  • Demonstrable ability to work dynamically so being comfortable in a variety of business domains
  • Demonstrable experience of applying requirements management techniques from a range of delivery and development methodologies
  • Stakeholder management: Demonstrable ability to influence and lead others regardless of seniority
  • Able to work independently and to effectively prioritise, meet deadlines and work within set timeframes whilst working on several projects at a time
  • Good general understanding of how technologies are used to deliver software solutions. 

Desirable:

  • Knowledge or understanding of Product Management concepts and methods
  • Commercial awareness with regard to costing of projects and their business impact
  • Knowledge and understanding or Project Management concepts and methods
  • Knowledge and understanding of JIRA.
