Implementation Project Manager (Malta based)

We are seeking to recruit an Implementation Project Manager to work alongside our Idox Health Products Consultants, Development and Support teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery of product implementation projects through delivery of a high-quality service to our customers.

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead successful implementations, meeting timelines and budget requirements. The successful candidates will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects both internally and with customers
  • Facilitate the definition of project challenges, objectives and benefits
  • Define resource requirements and implementation activities
  • Resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects
  • Adhere to a defined and agreed project management methodology and become involved in improving delivery processes
  • Constantly monitor projects progress and provide corrective action plans if necessary
  • Manage project budget and resource allocation
  • Facilitate the definition of customer requirements and interact regularly with the customer to improve quality of delivery
  • Present oral and written reports defining plans, risks, issues and resolutions to appropriate levels of management

Reporting to the  Manager - Customer Delivery, the ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong project management skills, including risk management
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to co-ordinate tasks, direct resources and managing all aspects of the project
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with customers, senior management and team members
  • Outstanding problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to detect and mitigate potential issues threatening to delay the timeline, impact budget or disrupt customer operations
  • Excellent presentation and human relation skills to engage with the users, encourage involvement and solicit feedback
  • High attention to detail
  • A thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of own professional discipline
  • A can-do attitude and uses own initiative to manage on a day-to-day basis
  • Energy, drive and a passion for delivering true business value
  • A sense of urgency necessary to meet goals, objectives and deadlines
  • Excellent collaborative skills to bring together all stakeholders required for successful initiatives
  • Full valid driver license is also essential.

The successful candidates need to possess a minimum of 3 years of increasingly responsible project management experience whilst having an outstanding grasp of information technology concepts and processes. Tertiary level education in an IT-related course of study and experience in Agile Delivery Methodology will be considered an asset. The role requires frequent travel overseas, mainly to the UK.
